The Carpe Viam Group believes in "paying it forward." This concept was first described by

Benjamin Franklin in 1784, it was made more widely known in 2000 in the movie by the same name.  According to www.wikipedia.com the expression pay it forward  "is used to describe the concept of 'third party beneficiary', in which a creditor who offers the debtor the option of paying the debt forward to a third person instead of paying it back. In sociology, this concept is called "generalized reciprocity”

We are incredibly grateful for all our of blessings and enjoy "paying it forward" by sponsoring, volunteering, and supporting a number of charitable organizations and events.  One cause that is particularly close to our heart is the Give n' Gobble Thanksgiving Day Run & Food Drive.  This is a local event founded by owner Cindy Aggson to raise money and food donations for families in need.
